Short Courses 2026

In-depth actor training.

These intensive short courses are designed for actors who want to grow rapidly through focused, high-impact training. They offer exceptional levels of on-camera experience. Whether you’re starting out, returning to training, preparing for screen work, or looking to deepen your technique, these courses offer a rigorous and transformative experience in very small groups.

Each intensive includes:
– Advanced training in a short time frame
– Small group sizes (max. 8 actors) for focused, personal attention
– Extensive camera work and playback analysis

The courses offer an in-depth exploration of both conscious techniques and the subconscious process, using cinema cameras,  and detailed playback analysis. The approach has been honed over many years at the UK’s leading drama schools. Jack creates a safe but challenging space for expanding learning. He understands different learning styles and adapts to each student and their needs.

Course Format

Length: 7 days (across two weekends + one catch-up session)
Hours per day: 9:30am–5:30pm (7 hours teaching per day)
Structure: One group of 8 actors working each day
Location: London SW8 (6 mins from Nine Elms Tube / 7 mins from Stockwell)

Courses

Demidov for Camera

Dates: Jan 16–18 & Jan 23–25 & March 4th 2026, 2026  9.30am- 5.30pm each day.

A practical introduction to Nikolai Demidov — an intuitive and liberating system that enables actors to access the subconscious and expand their access and ability. This work teaches actors the foundation of subconscious acting through Demidov’s Etudes. You will be encouraged to work with text in a new way and to have faith and trust in your true ability. March 4th is a continuation day, a return to the work, re-enforcing the learning and encouraging continuing practice.

No experience necessary.

Fee per intensive: £795

Includes: All training hours and on-camera footage (You will need a USB C hard drive to download footage)

Deposit: £100 (non-refundable) to secure your place
